The Pogues - Lyon, France 1986

Also from the Lyon tapes collection we have this nice recording of the Pogues live in Vaulx-en-Velin. According to Lolive, the taper, it happened at a school gymnasium in front of 1200 sweating people.

This is volume 99 of The Lyon Tapes Collection that consists of concerts recorded in Lyon, France between 1982-1990 mostly for broadcast in radio stations.
This show from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds has a natural focus on the album released the previous year, Tender Prey.

Frank Zappa - Knebworth 1978

As part of  their 1978 World Tour, Frank Zappa and band played at the Knebworth festival on September 9 with artists on the bill such as The Tubes, Peter Gabriel, Boomtown Rats, etc.
I guess Zappa would not desaprove the imaginative title Oh God, Not Another Boring Old Knebworth Festival that appeared on promotion posters. This was the second edition of the Knebworth event held in this same year, 1978.

Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy 1998.12.10

This is of short duration but Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were on top form in this performance at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, France on December 10th, 1998. 
They toured throughout 1998 playing nearly 100 shows in support of their 1998 album Walking into Clarksdale.
This benefit show for Amnesty International celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
